Jacksonville and St. Augustine Fishing Charters

Update on Atlantic Coast Charters and Captain Ron
With the Economy in the shitter, I was forced to start commercial fishing full time.
The Seafood business is still pretty strong even the way things are today.
I'm in the process of rebuilding the Miss Daisy now with some minor deck and fiberglass work. I'm shopping a new engine and hope to repower her in the next few weeks. I hope to be done with the boat and back chartering by the early Fall.
I disconnected the 744-2999 phone number, But my Cell and email are still the same and works fine.
I'll update this report in between trips, witch I'm out fishing four to five days at a time. And I'm putting a album of the commercial boat and trips up on the picture page as well for everyone to check out.
Thanks for calling
Ron

CATCHING UP ON FISHING REPORTS FOR MAY 2007
SHORT AND SWEET VERSION
FISH ARE BITING! GO FISHING! smile

GULF STREAM TRIPS
The Dolphin bite is wide open. A lot of double digit days on dolphin with Wahoo and sailfish mixed in. "When the Weather will let you get there!"

10 and 12hr BOTTOM FISHING TRIPS
From 140' to the break, Grouper are biting so hard they are taking rods for people. Red Snapper, Mango, Beliners, Triggerfish and Amberjacks are filling up the box also.

8hr TRIPS
Cobia have showed up on the manta rays migrating up the beach and are all over the local wrecks inside 25 miles. A lot of the Red Snapper we are catching the last couple of trips are barely missing the legal mark by a half inch or so. But there is starting to be more Legal Snapper to keep than there has been the last couple of months. Grouper and Amberjacks are chewing inshore also. Beliners are wide open with some really nice Triggerfish and Flounder mixed in.
If the Weather will come down, the fishing for the rest of this month and into June should be really good. smile
